  3. Prepare fresh green beans by trimming ends; boil in salted water for 2 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath.
  4. Melt half a cup of butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stir in black pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt.
  5. Drain green beans, pat dry, and toss them gently in the buttery glaze.
  6. Wrap 10-12 glazed green beans in each bacon slice, securing with chives or kitchen twine.
