Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 2 fillets Skinless Salmon Fillets 5 oz/150 grams each
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Kosher or sea salt recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Or substitute with white pepper
For the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Ghee or coconut oil can be used as alternative
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic Cloves Use less for milder flavor
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Or half and half, milk or plant-based cream can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice Skip for subtler flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Old-Style Dijon Mustard Can use whole grain mustard instead
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper For the sauce, using the same as for salmon
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Finely chopped, dill can be used instead
  • 2 slices Lemon Slices Lime slices can substitute

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and position the rack in the center.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a skillet, coat with marinade, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat, add more lemon juice, parsley, and season to taste.
  8. Let salmon rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving with cream sauce.
  9. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley before enjoying.
