Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly with butter or olive oil.
  2. Peel, devein, and butterfly the shrimp, leaving tails on for presentation. Keep them chilled.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and minced garlic and sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove skillet from heat, then stir in breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until cohesive.
  5. Spread a layer of stuffing in the baking dish. Place butterflied shrimp on top, cut-side down, and spoon remaining stuffing over them.
  6. Drizzle melted butter on top and sprinkle paprika for color and depth.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until shrimp are opaque and topping is golden. Broil for extra crispiness if desired.
  8. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
