Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Shred the chicken using two forks.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden. Gradually whisk in milk and stir until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until completely melted and smooth. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir the shredded chicken and cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce, along with BBQ sauce. Mix on low heat until everything is well coated.
