- Cut chicken breasts into 1.5-inch cubes and marinate in 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high, around 350-400°F, and thread marinated chicken onto pre-soaked skewers.
- Grill chicken skewers for 15-18 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with remaining BBQ sauce.
- Grill corn for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently, until tender and charred. Cut kernels off the cob after cooling.
- Mix 1/3 cup ranch dressing with 3 tablespoons buttermilk and another 1/3 cup BBQ sauce.
- In a salad bowl, toss romaine with most of the dressing, then add in black beans, tomatoes, avocado, and corn. Serve skewers on top.
