  • 1 lb Pizza Dough homemade or store-bought
Pesto
  • 1 cup Pesto Sauce store-bought
Toppings
  • 2 medium Potatoes thinly sliced, Yukon Gold or Russet
  • 1 lb Sausage spicy or mild
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese fresh, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
For Roasting
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic freshly minced
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Thinly slice your potatoes and toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  3. Spread the potato slices on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for about 20 minutes.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and brown the sausage until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Spread pesto sauce over the rolled-out dough, layer the roasted potatoes and sausage, followed by mozzarella and parmesan.
  7. Carefully transfer to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil.
