  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Mix in cornstarch for extra stability.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease each cup.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. In another bowl, whisk butter, milk, egg, and vanilla. Gently mix wet into dry ingredients until just combined.
  3. Blend softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling until smooth.
  4. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add a scoop of cinnamon filling, then top with more batter. Swirl gently with a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Beat cream cheese until smooth, mix in powdered sugar and milk until drizzling consistency is achieved.
  7. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over cooled muffins.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
