  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 0.25 cup Green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes, optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden-brown. Drain on a paper towel.
  3. Rub chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  5. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, then top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Let it rest for a couple of minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.
