Ingredients
  

For the Meat Layer
  • 1 pound Ground Beef can substitute with turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup Diced Onion omit if you prefer milder taste
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic or use garlic powder
For the Creamy Base
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup or cream of chicken
  • 1 cup Sour Cream can use Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese can use mozzarella or pepper jack
  • 32 ounces Frozen Tater Tots or make homemade potato tots
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook for about 7–10 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and half of the cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired before serving.
