  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom for a vegetarian option
  • 1 cup sour cream Greek yogurt makes a great substitute
  • 1 1 oz packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic for more flavor
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
For the Filling
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken using rotisserie chicken speeds up meal prep
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled turkey bacon is a lighter substitute or omit
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional) for garnishing before serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken, 1½ cups cheddar, and Parmesan into the creamy mixture, then mix in the drained spaghetti.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, top with remaining cheddar and crumbled bacon.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
