For the Chicken
  • 1 pound chicken breasts or turkey or firm tofu
For the Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika can use smoked paprika for more flavor
  • 1 teaspoon cumin optional
For Flavoring
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 large onion or shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic freshly minced

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic for 3–4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the seasoned chicken in the skillet for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
