  1. Begin by slicing the chicken breasts into 4-6 thin cutlets for even cooking.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together one egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dip each cutlet into the egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry each cutlet for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
