Step-by-Step Instructions for Hot Honey Chicken Wings
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and set aside to air dry for 15 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, salt, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Let marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Drizzle the marinated wings with olive oil and mix until well-coated.
- Preheat your oven to 410°F (210°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add crushed red pepper, cayenne, honey, and sriracha; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Baste the wings with the hot honey sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking, then broil for 2-4 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, toss the wings in remaining sauce, and serve immediately.

Notes
Allow the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
