Step-by-Step Instructions for Tofu Fried Rice
  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Cube the firm tofu into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the tofu until golden brown.
  4. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds, then add mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender.
  5. Combine crispy tofu, cooled rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil in the skillet and toss gently.
  6. Mix in chopped green onions, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
