Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup of softened butter with 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Incorporate 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt, stirring just until combined.
  2. Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter. Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  3. While the brownies cool, prepare the frosting. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of sifted powdered sugar with ½ tablespoon of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ½ cup of softened butter. Beat until smooth, then adjust the consistency as needed.
  4. Once your frosting is ready, divide it into separate bowls and mix in desired food coloring for a festive look.
  5. After ensuring the brownies are completely cool, spread the colorful frosting evenly over the top using a spatula.
  6. Top the brownies with playful chocolate bunnies and festive sprinkles for a delightful finish!
