Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the filling by combining light brown sugar, matcha powder, ground cinnamon, and fine salt. Mix until evenly blended.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, yeast, and salt. Warm milk, sugar, and butter until melted, then mix into dry ingredients to form a sticky dough.
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing until elastic. Gradually add flour if dough is sticky.
  4. Cover and let the dough rest for 10-20 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 14 by 18 inches.
