Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the spice rub by mixing onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the chicken thighs and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Make the BBQ sauce by cooking diced peach and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in BBQ sauce and bourbon, then simmer for 10 minutes and blend until smooth.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F) and oil the grates.
  5. Grill the chicken thighs for 3-5 minutes on each side, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Brush the bourbon peach BBQ sauce over the chicken and grill for an additional minute on each side.
  7. Slice additional fresh peaches in half, brush with leftover BBQ sauce, and grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  8. Serve the grilled chicken with the grilled peaches and extra BBQ sauce drizzled on top.
