  • 2 pounds potatoes Russets or Yukon Golds preferred
  • 1/2 cup butter or olive oil for a lighter alternative
  • 1 cup milk or cream non-dairy milk can be used
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients, chop the beef stew meat, dice the carrots, and measure herbs and spices.
