Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or 350°F (175°C) for convection.
- Lightly spray a small 1½ quart baking dish with oil.
- Combine cream cheese with 1¾ cups of grated cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth.
- (Optional) Grate in nutmeg and mix well.
- Stir in cranberry sauce and half of the fresh cranberries.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 18 to 23 minutes until bubbly and golden, checking at 15 minutes if using convection.
- Serve immediately with crostini, crackers, or pita chips, and optional fresh nutmeg.
