Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced kielbasa for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix sour cream and cream cheese until smooth, then spread in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer frozen pierogies evenly over the creamy mixture.
  5. Add the browned kielbasa over the pierogies.
  6. Top with caramelized onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
