Preparation
- Preheat your oven to broil, ensuring the oven rack is positioned at the top, about 6 inches from the heat source.
- Slice each Medjool date lengthwise on one side to remove the pit, making a pocket for filling, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Fill each date with a dollop of mascarpone cheese, and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Drizzle maple syrup over the stuffed dates.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and broil for approximately 3 minutes until slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
