  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese can substitute with cream cheese
Topping
  • 1/2 cup Pecans finely chopped; walnuts are an alternative
  • 1/4 cup Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup can substitute with honey

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to broil, ensuring the oven rack is positioned at the top, about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise on one side to remove the pit, making a pocket for filling, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Fill each date with a dollop of mascarpone cheese, and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  4. Drizzle maple syrup over the stuffed dates.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and broil for approximately 3 minutes until slightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
