For the Steak and Marinade
  • 1 pound Sirloin Steak About 1-inch thick

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Use fresh if available
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Use fresh if available

For the Bowl Base
  • 2 cups Cooked Grains (Brown Rice/Quinoa/Cauli Rice) Pre-cooked for convenience
  • 1 cup Roasted Chickpeas Optional
For the Fresh Veggies
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Fresh and crunchy
  • 1 cup Cucumber Fresh and crunchy
  • ½ cup Red Onion Can substitute with green onions
  • ½ cup Kalamata Olives Can substitute with green olives
For Garnishing
  • ½ cup Feta Cheese Omit for dairy-free option
  • ¼ cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley/Dill) Optional
For the Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt or Alternative Coconut yogurt for dairy-free
  • ½ cup Grated Cucumber Squeeze excess moisture
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Optional for sweetness

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Marinate the steak by combining olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and thyme. Coat the steak fully and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, and dill in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Make the vinaigrette by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  4. Cook the marinated steak in a hot skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing.
  5. Assemble the bowls by layering cooked grains, sliced steak, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and chickpeas. Garnish with feta and herbs, then drizzle with tzatziki and vinaigrette.
