Preparation

  3. Start layering the cake with lime cream and Maria cookies alternately in the prepared pan.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Prepare the whipped cream by beating heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Remove the cake from the pan, top with whipped cream and optional garnishes, then serve.
