  • to taste black pepper Adjust according to taste.
For the Topping
  • 1.5 cups Ritz crackers Keep in coarse crumbs.
  • 0.5 cups butter Margarine can be used as a substitute.

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked chicken.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the greased baking dish.
  6. Crush the Ritz crackers into coarse crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the chicken filling.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  9. Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
