Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Alfredo Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza steel, stone, or an upside-down sheet pan inside to heat up simultaneously.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pizza yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until combined. Knead for 4-6 minutes until smooth.
  3. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic powder and onion powder, cooking for about 1-2 minutes. Whisk in flour and gradually incorporate heavy cream and milk.
  4. Once the sauce has thickened slightly, stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. On the uncooked pizza crust, sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Spread half of the Alfredo sauce, layer chicken, and the remaining sauce.
  6. Top with crispy bacon and additional mozzarella cheese, then add sliced sweet onion.
