- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a 12-inch cast-iron skillet inside to heat.
- Sauté sliced baby Bella mushrooms in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
- Mix whipped ricotta, chopped garlic, crushed red pepper, and more salt in a bowl; set aside.
- Roll out the rested pizza dough to about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
- Remove the hot skillet, brush with olive oil, and stretch the dough into it. Top with sautéed mushrooms, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
- Bake for approximately 9 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling. Optionally broil for an additional 2.5 minutes.
- Lift the pizza from the skillet, cool for a minute, slice, and serve warm.
