Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your muffin tin with liners or grease it.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mash ripe bananas and blend in sugar.
- Add egg and vegetable oil to the banana mixture, and combine gently.
- Pour in vanilla extract and Nutella, stirring until smooth.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture without overmixing.
- If using, fold in chocolate chips.
- Fill muffin cups about two-thirds full and add a dollop of Nutella on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes and check for doneness.
- Cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
