- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
- Cut a small head of cabbage into thick slices, about ½ inch each. Brush both sides with olive oil and place on the baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and egg if using. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the meat mixture into patties and place one on each cabbage slice.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle cheese on top, and broil for 3-5 minutes until melted.
