For the Filling
  • 1 pack White String Cheese Mozzarella is a good alternative.
  • 10 slices Pepperoni Can replace with ham or turkey.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Herbs Optional blend of oregano, basil, and thyme.
  • 1 cup Pasta Sauce BBQ sauce can be used as a twist.
For Serving
  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Sprinkle on top before serving.
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil For garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your muffin tin.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Lay each in the muffin tin.
  3. Add about 1 teaspoon of pasta sauce to the center of each dough triangle.
  4. Layer two slices of pepperoni and a piece of string cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal each bomb tightly.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  7. Let cool briefly, remove from the tin, and serve warm with garnishes and sauce.
