- Boil 6 large eggs in a medium saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Prepare an ice bath in a large bowl. Once the eggs sit for 10 minutes, transfer them to the ice bath for 5 minutes.
- Peel each egg under cold running water to keep the egg whites intact.
- Slice the peeled eggs in half, scoop yolks into a bowl, and mash with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Add orange food coloring to the yolk mixture and mix until evenly colored.
