Preparation Steps
- In a large pitcher, pour in 4 cups of cold water. Add 3-4 green tea bags or 2 tablespoons of loose leaf green tea, followed by a handful of fresh mint leaves. Give it a gentle stir to begin releasing the mint's aromatic oils.
- Prepare 2 ripe kiwis by peeling and slicing them into rounds. Gently add the kiwi slices to the pitcher. For a more intense kiwi flavor, use a muddler or the back of a spoon to crush a few slices before adding.
- If you like a touch of sweetness, consider adding honey or your preferred sweetener at this stage. Start with a tablespoon and adjust based on your preference. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the mixture to infuse for 6-8 hours, or ideally overnight.
- After the infusion period, remove the pitcher from the fridge and strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the strained tea over the ice, and garnish with additional mint leaves or a slice of kiwi.
