Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting your sirloin or ribeye steak into bite-sized cubes and pat them dry with paper towels for optimal browning. Generously season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the steak cubes in batches and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, and toss in the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, then return the steak to coat in the garlic butter.
