Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preparing the Yukon Gold potatoes. Peel and slice into thin 1/8-inch rounds.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and cream, then add the salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Layer the potato slices in the muffin pan, drizzling cream mixture and adding cheese between layers.
  5. Cover the muffin pan with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh chives.
