  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce omit for gluten-free
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder or fresh minced onion
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika or smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Parsley chopped, or fresh herbs
  • 1 Green Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice fresh preferred
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil for frying

  • Tartar Sauce as a dip

Step-by-Step Instructions for Salmon Cakes
  1. Begin by draining the canned salmon and removing any bones and skin.
  2. Combine the flaked salmon with breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 portions and shape into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the patties for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the cooked salmon cakes to a plate lined with paper towels and serve.
