Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Clean the seafood by rinsing the mussels under cold running water and scrubbing their shells. Remove the beards and peel and devein the shrimp, setting both aside.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn it.
  3. Add white grape juice to the skillet, then add the mussels, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes until they open. Discard any unopened mussels.
  4. Fold in the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Mix in heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest, then season with salt and pepper. Stir in chopped parsley and let the sauce thicken for about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the dish immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
