Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast Boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups Broccoli Fresh florets preferred
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup Low-sodium option available
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded, can substitute with mozzarella or Monterey Jack
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Add diced jalapeños for heat if desired
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Place the fresh broccoli florets evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Carefully add the raw chicken breasts on top of the broccoli in a single layer.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with cheddar cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Gently pour the creamy mixture over the layered chicken and broccoli.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
  7. Once tender, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
