Preparation
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Place the fresh broccoli florets evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Carefully add the raw chicken breasts on top of the broccoli in a single layer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with cheddar cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Gently pour the creamy mixture over the layered chicken and broccoli.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
- Once tender, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
