  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese blended until smooth
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour can be substituted with whole wheat
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Filling Ingredients
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach chopped
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
Finish Ingredients
  • 1 egg Egg Wash to brush on top

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mini food processor, blend the cottage cheese until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine processed cottage cheese with all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and olive oil. Stir until integrated.
  4. Fold in chopped baby spinach and mozzarella cheese, mixing until evenly distributed.
  5. Dust a surface with flour, shape the dough into a log, cut into 6 pieces, and flatten each piece into a circle with a hole in the center.
  6. Arrange shaped flagels on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and leave space between each.
  7. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes before serving warm.
