Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until bubbly. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic cloves and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add the softened cream cheese, mixing until creamy. Pour in the sour cream and mayonnaise, stirring continuously.
  4. Fold in the thawed and squeezed dry frozen spinach, then season with salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika.
  5. Turn heat back to medium-low, fold in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer dip to a greased baking dish and sprinkle extra mozzarella on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly and decorate with sour cream and olives before serving.
