Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pastry to about 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  4. Brush melted butter over the pastry and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar filling.
  5. Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips and twist each strip several times.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
