Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 1 bunch Broccoli cut into bite-sized florets
  • 4 slices Bacon cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 1 cup Dried Cranberries preferably Ocean Spray Craisins
  • 0.5 medium Red Onion finely diced
  • 0.5 cup Sunflower Seeds optional, add before serving
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Hellmann's preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets, discarding any tough stems. Finely dice red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Fold in dried cranberries and crumbled bacon into the broccoli and onion mixture. Optionally add sunflower seeds keeping some aside.
  4. Mix the dressing into the salad until everything is well coated.
  5. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour, preferably up to six hours.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle remaining sunflower seeds on top.

Notes
