Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium-sized pot over high heat.
- Once your water is boiling, remove the pot from the heat and add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals along with 1-2 thin slices of fresh ginger. Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Carefully uncover the pot and taste the tea. Gradually stir in your desired sweetener until fully dissolved.
- Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the tea into a heatproof pitcher or bowl to strain out the hibiscus petals and ginger slices.
- Allow the brewed tea to cool at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes, then place it in the refrigerator.
- Pour your chilled Hibiscus Ginger Iced Tea over ice and garnish with lime wheels.
